The History Behind the Sally Bowman Real Estate Building:
This building was the home of Esquire Samuel Beach, an American Patriot. Beach was one of two Cheshire delegates to attend the state convention
to ratify the United States Constitution in 1788. He graduated Yale Law School in 1757 and then worked to establish the town of Cheshire. Beach served as the Town Clerk for the first town meeting and later recruited men for the continental army. Now Beach's home serves as a Cheshire piece of history, and Sally Bowman Real Estate is lucky enough to call it "home."
