This is the mission of the Mari Hall Family Foundation. My close family friend Matt Hall and his wife Lisa founded this organization shortly after their daughter Mari was diagnosed with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder). They enrolled Mari in intervention services where she received treatment from speech, occupational and physical therapy consultants as soon as she was diagnosed.

At 4 years old, Mari's social interaction, eye contact, self help skills and receptive language skills have improved dramatically. It was then that The Halls decided that every child and person affected by ASD deserves all the support and services that they can get.

This year the Mari Hall foundation is holding their largest fundraising activity - Mari's Miles of Smiles Road Race. This 10K/Family Fun EventK is meant to really make an impact on the charity. With runners coming in from all over Cheshire CT and the surrounding areas, $100 prize for each top male and female winners, on-site massages, and several children's activities (moonbounce, face painting, dancing), the turnout is bound to be a success.
