Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in Cheshire, CT

It’s starting to warm up in Cheshire and that can only mean one thing: spring is almost here! Along with the arrival of spring we celebrate St. Patrick’s Day this Thursday. Whether you’re Irish or not, it’s always fun to get in the spirit and celebrate along with other Cheshire residents in one way or another. If you celebrated over the weekend and are looking for something more low-key this week, take the opportunity on St. Patrick’s Day to indulge in traditional Irish food. Lucky for us, West Main Grill in Cheshire is serving a St. Patrick’s Day Dinner on Thursday, March 17th.

From 4:00 to 8:00 on Thursday evening, West Main Grill will be offering a three-course meal for only $14.95 per person. Traditional Irish fare will be served to help you get into a festive St. Patrick’s Day mood. Take your pick of Corned Beef, Guinness Stew, or Shepherd’s Pie for your main course. If you save room, soup or salad and dessert is included, while appetizers are offered a la carte. This is a great restaurant to visit to experience Cheshire's charm!

Another place to get in the spirit of St. Patrick’s Day in the Cheshire area is at The Playwright Irish Pub and Restaurant. Here, you can feast on traditional Irish food for lunch or dinner any day of the week. With a full bar and music entertainment, The Playwright will be a great place to visit on St. Patrick’s Day to maximize your experience.

Continue your St. Patrick’s Day celebration at one of the Cheshire area pubs. Make C.J. Sparrow Pub and Eatery your destination to enjoy live music and have a drink. The Old Dublin Traditional Irish & Music Pub in Wallingford is another great choice to continue your St. Patrick’s Day festivities. This Irish pub allows you to get into the St. Patty's Day groove with a traditional Irish music session while you enjoy a Guinness or your Irish brew of choice.

I also personally recommend Victorian House and Yellowfin's Seafood Grille for St. Patty's Day. I'll be out and about most of the day, and I'll be hosting a St. Patrick's Day parade at my office at 3:00pm. I hope to see you!
