This weekend marks a very important event in Cheshire Connecticut. It is, in fact, one of our biggest events of the year. The Cheshire Lights of Hope revolves around one simple concept - find hope in disheartening situations.

Sally Bowman Real Estate cannot emphasize enough how important it is to get involved in this event if you live in Cheshire, or you are thinking about moving to Cheshire.

Light a single candle in a white bag, come together with your Cheshire neighborhood, and send a message of strength. 100% of proceeds go directly to the charities for the Cheshire Community Food Pantry, Cheshire Youth and Social Services, the Cheshire Lights of Hope Scholarship, and the Petit Family Foundation.

What: Cheshire Lights of Hope
When: Saturday, November 6th
What You'll Need: Luminaries, available at R.W. Hine Ace Hardware Store
Where Sally Bowman Real Estate will be: Mixville Road (I'm the street captain!)

There's another event going on in Cheshire this weekend that I don't want you to forget about with all of the action of the Lights of Hope - The Cheshire Food Pantry.

Historically it has collected over 30,000 items. In the past, there has been so much food that the overflow had to be stored at the old firehouse because the current pantry couldn't hold it all. Let's make this year the same!  Just bring your food items to the town green from 9 am - 3 pm this Saturday, November 6th and Sunday, November 7th.

Talk about a weekend packed with charity in Cheshire Connecticut! There's definitely a feeling of pride and joy that you get from giving to charity so I have a feeling this weekend is going to be a good one. I hope to see you all there.
